We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. Personal data will be treated confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this Privacy Policy. Data transmission over the internet may have security vulnerabilities; complete protection against unauthorized access by third parties is not possible. Hosting & Website

Our website is hosted by Hoststar and created using WordPress. We use plugins such as Yoast SEO and reCAPTCHA for protection against spam and bots. Types of data: IP address, visited pages, duration of stay, technical browser data. Purpose: Operation and security of the website, optimization of user-friendliness.

Cloud Services & Office Software

We use Microsoft including the Office Suite and OneDrive to manage internal documents, emails, databases, backups, and organizational tasks. Types of data: Documents, emails, internal data, contact information. Purpose: Management of association and business matters, internal communication, document storage.

The software can be run locally on computers or via the internet. Types of data: Participant data (first name, last name, gender, year of birth or birthdate, club/place, start number, time, ranking), contact information (address, email, phone number). Purpose: Organization, execution, and evaluation of events, creation of rankings. Note on rankings/deletion requests: Participant data required for creating rankings cannot be deleted easily for legal or organizational reasons. This particularly applies to the publication of name, first name, start number, club/place, ranking, time, and year of birth. Personal contact data will not be published.

Types of data: Participant master data, payment information, addresses, email. Purpose: Contract execution, payment processing, invoicing. Data processing by third parties: Occurs only to the extent necessary for processing, in compliance with statutory data protection provisions.

Data Transfer to Third Countries (e.g., USA)

If we transmit personal data to third-party providers located outside Switzerland, this will be done in compliance with applicable data protection regulations. In particular, for payments via payment providers such as **Stripe** and **PayPal**, whose servers are operated in the USA, we guarantee the protection of your data through **Standard Contractual Clauses** or other appropriate security measures that are in line with applicable Swiss data protection laws.

Newsletter & E-Mail Communication

Newsletters are sent via Njuko or SwissNewsletter. Emails are sent and received via Microsoft Outlook. Types of data: Email addresses, possibly name, registration data. Purpose: Information about events, news, and offers from the association. Note: Newsletter registration is done via double opt-in.

Social Media Integration

If you send us inquiries via the contact form, the data entered will be stored to process your request. Data will only be shared with third parties with your consent.

Transfer of Participant Data to Event Organizers

Your data (name, first name, year of birth, club/place, start number, possibly contact information) will be forwarded to the respective organizer for whom you booked a starting place. The purpose is the execution of the event, start number management, and possibly communication by the organizer. Data transfer will only occur to the extent necessary for the execution. By registering, you also agree to the terms and conditions of the respective organizer. Further information on how your data is handled by the organizer is included there.

Data processing by third parties: Bexio is cloud-based; transfer to third countries only under legal data protection provisions.
